Brave Story: New Traveler

Walkthrough

An original RPG for the PSP first launched in Japan in the summer of 2006, Brave Story: New Traveler now comes to North America. In this guide we will guide you through Tatsuya's adventures in his quest to get his wish to cure Miki.

Wayfarer Lau's Hut

Inspect the jug with a bird to get a mako berry. Walk into the hut and talk to Lau. Inspect the treasure chest to get a map of Vision. Go outside and you'll see the birds are gone. You can walk out to the world map. Go northeast to the Cave of Trials.

Cave of Trials

Your answers to the Four Guardians will determine your character's starting attributes. Go into the next room for a scene with Lau. In the next room, there are three doors on each side and a group of statues, which must all be turned to face the center of the room.

Go into the lower right door and turn the statue. Then go into the middle right room and turn the statue there. Now turn the one in the middle left room. Next, turn the top left room statue. The far door will open, so go through it and inpect the statue there. Return to Lau.

Lanka Forest

Walk to the left to trigger a scene and a battle with Yuno. Taking the path northeast from here, you will find two treasure chests with a jerky and a glistenstone. Go back to where you met Yuno and head left, following the path down. Taking the northeast path from here takes you to a deadend with a chest with a weapon for Yuno. Back on the main path, go south and then northeast. Follow the path to find healing and save points. Continue south to get out of the forest. On the world map, go south towards Lanka.

Town of Lanka

Go to the inn for a scene with Yuno's parents. Inspect the pot to the left to find gimblewolf meat. Go north of the inn into the armory for a scene with Yuno. Inspect the pot on the south side of the pub to get a Bravery Diagram 1. Inspect the jugs near the stable to find a glistenstone and a mako berry. Go into the Highlander building near the town entrance for another scene. Go back to the inn, keep walking left past it and you'll see a scene with Miss Maree. Go back to Lanka Forest to find her ring.

Lanka Forest

Walk past the heal and save points and go south at the crossroad. If you keep following the southwest path, you will come to a chest with a fire shard. Go north at the crossroad into Lanka Forest and keep heading north until a scene happens. Taking the southwest path all the way to the end you will see a treasure chest containing a sleeping bag. If you take the northeast path, there will be another chest with 30 tems. Exit the forest and return to the Town of Lanka.

Town of Lanka

Talk to Miss Maree to receive the accessory book, craft kit and Life Diagram 1. Go to the accessory shop and talk to her boyfriend there, you will receive a green snayleshell and two fire shards. Create some accessories for your paty. Go back to Yuno's house for another scene with her parents. Leave Lanka and go west to Grandera River Crossing.

Grandera River Crossing

Inspect the jugs to the right and left of the main building to get a glistenstone, Sorcery Diagram 1, fruit of vitality and 10 tems. Walk straight ahead and talk to Vortus for a scene. Talk to him again to go across. After another scene, you receive a birdcage and a net, and then you will be transported to Goalfinch Grove to participate in birdcatching. Wander around the area to trigger the mini-game event. You must catch five birds. Don't talk to the person unless you have all the birds and are ready to leave. Then you will be taken to participate in birdbrawling in Lanka Forest. When you regain control, exit Grandera River Crossing through the west and head north to Sakawa. Before you leave, check the jugs for Recovery Diagram 1, sleeping bag and fruit of bravery.

Town of Sakawa

The jug outside the first structure has a Speed Diagram 1. The one near the center of town has a glinstenstone. The jug by the canoes has a fruit of strength, and the one on the pier has a jerky. From where you entered Sakawa, go through the first door on the right for a scene with Minos and Sogreth. After the scene leave town and walk south to Lyris.

Lyris, City of the Arts

Walk into town for a scene with Meladee. Explore the town to get some goodies. There's a gleamstone in a jug by the ranch, an Immunity Diagram 1 in a jug in the armory, a camping set in another jug in the highlander branch, and a jerky in the jug in the inn. When you're done exploring, go to the main entrance and back to Sakawa.

Town of Sakawa

Enter the second building to the right for a scene with Kee Keema, who will join your party. Leave town and follow the shore west, to the Seaside Cave.

Seaside Cave

Follow the path around until you find a chest with 105 tems. Going straight down the path as it turns will take you to a save point. There's a dead end to the left with a chest containing Strength Diagram 1. Continuing west to Seaside Cave - Inner Reaches, there will be a scene and Sogreth joins your party temporarily for a boss fight (Boogaboo Crab). You receive a gemstone for defeating it and can now use Bravery skills.

Going back reveal a flooded path, so you must go north by the save point. There's a chest with bronze guards on this path. Continue until there's a scene where the main character opens a path with his sword. Go through it for another scene with Miki in the hospital. Leave the cave and return to Sakawa.

Town of Sakawa

Enter the town and there will be a scene where Sogreth joins the party. Talk to Kee Keema's father, Phu Phten, to receive a delivery quest to Lyris. The reward is a Spirit Diagram 1. Leave to Lyris.

Lyris, City of Arts

Enter the Highlander Branch on the left for a scene. Go back to Seaside Cave and get three giranha spleens from crazed giranhas. There is also a birdbrawler in the cave now. Once you have all three return to the Highlander Branch in Lyris and there will be a scene with Father Diamon. Go to the inn and talk to Toni Fanlon in the corner to get a request for rare materials for accessories. Explore the city a bit. There are jugs in the armory with a solvent and Immunity Diagram 3. There is a jug with a gleamstone at the item shop. Go southeast past the girl that talks about the bricklayers, this leads to uptown Lyris.

There is a jug in the inn (across from the cathedral) with a jerky. This is where you deliver Phu Phten's package and receive the Spirit Diagram 1. If you have the materials, use it to make a ring for Yuno. There are more jugs in the southern building, with heartglue and a firestone. When you're done exploring, go northwest to Triankha Hospital.

Triankha Hospital

After the scene, continue up. There are two rooms in the top right area with chests containing Absorption Diagram 1 and antiplegic. There is another room in the top left area with a chest with a sleeping bag. Go down the stairs to B1F. The first room there has a chest with 235 tems. The east room has a chest with fruit of agility. Another room at the end of the hallway has a chest with tenderloin. Walk southeast to the next area and a scene with Rei will happen. Continue forward to reach a save/heal spot. Look in the top right room to get a sharpened horn from a chest. Exit through the bottom left room at the save spot for a boss fight (Illuyanbulg, has AE fire). It was fairly easy on level 10. Defeat the boss and go back to Lyris. Go west until you see the sign, then southeast to the Bog-Sasaya Border.

Bog-Sasaya Border

Inspect the jugs by each side of the gate to get a fuit of bravery, tenderloin and lightning stone. Go to the gatehouse and there will be a scene with Leynart where you are confused with the bandits. Wataru and Meena join the party for the time being. Talk to a few people until one tells you that the bandits are somewhere to the east. Leave the gatehouse through the north exit (Bog) and go east until you get a scene with the bandits. The Bandit Hideout will appear on the world map, east and then south.

Bandit Hideout

The northeast path that turns south takes you to a chest with a Defense Diagram 1. The northeast path that turns north takes you to another chest with a Fortune Diagram 1. Go northwest to reach the Mountainside. If you take the northeast path here, inspect the leaves on the ground to find a fruit of strength. Following the northwest path you will reach a save point. If you take the east path from here, there will be a chest with panic powder.

From the save point, go north and then take the second path to the Summit Vicinity. Inspect the piles of leaves along the way to find an antivenom and a tenderloin. Next, take the south path and then go east to reach another save point. There's a dead end to the south with a chest containing 933 tems and a sleeping bag in the leaves. If you continue forward from the save point, you will trigger a boss fight with the bandits. There are three waves of bandits, one kitkin and one waterkin. Concentrate on killing the kitkin girls first (they can confuse the boys), and damage the waterkin enough until it seems like he's kneeling over. That means he's nearly dead, so make sure you keep yourself fully healed before the next wave begins. Don't use Unity skills, they cost a lot. Use Bravery instead. After defeating them, you will be able to pick an elemental power gem for your weapon and your sword will transform. You get to see Miki at the hospital again. When all the scenes are over, go south to Vahadina, Desert Outpost.

Vahadina, Desert Outpost

Go into the Highlander Branch for an event. Inspect the jug by the branch to get a wakewater. Another jug by the armory has an Immunity Diagram 7. Go north for a scene with Mamanmu, and you will get an upgrade for your birdnet (beefed-up net). Talk to Mamanmu again to receive a Bird Diagram 1. Look at the jug next to Mamanmu to find a smokescreen. Go north again and walk in front of the darbaba post to trigger a scene with Cecilia. Inspect the jug near her to get a Speed Diagram 2. Check another jug at the north exit, near Sasha, for a camping set. Talk to Cecilia, leave, and go east on the world map. You will come to an event where you find Meladee's armband and get sucked in by the quicksand.

Desert Ruins

Go north, take the first left until you find Meladee. Fight the three Emmet bugs and she joins the party. There's a dead end with a chest with Immunity Diagram 9. Continue through the path ahead until a scene with the characters finding a deadend and Tatsuya gets separated.

Down below, Mitsuru will join the party. If you take the southeast path you can get heartglue from a chest. Taking the path south, you go past a save/heal point. Continue south and then follow the path northeast. If you take the west path, it splits in two: northwest you will find a chest with Life Diagram 2 in the second room with pillars; If you take the east path that bends south, there's a dead end with a chest containing aquamite. When you get to the incantation event with Mitsuru, pick the second choice ("Agara bela nem") to clear the blockage and leave. Any of other options will drop you down to an area with a healing sphere, a chest with wakewater, and another chest with antivenom. There will be stairs back up, and a chest at the top of the stairs has a tenderloin. If you take the west path to a dead end, there will be a chest with a weapon for Meladee (Bugswatters). After Mitsuru leaves the party and you join back with the rest, go south from the save point to leave this area (you will see the ruins turn into a brown cave).

Emmet Colony

Be prepared to fight several Emmet Lords, they are pretty tough with their defense boost, and sometimes get crazed too. You can't escape from those fights either.

From the entrance area, there is a southwest dead end with a chest containing fruit of bravery. The chest is a mimic, so it will attack you afterwards. Back at the entrance area, go southeast, then continue south, follow the path to the west and south again to the save point. If you continue west, you will come to a chest with a Strength Diagram 2. East goes to a deadend with a chest containing 874 tems.

From the save point, go south then east to the Emmet Nest, and to trigger a scene and boss battle with Emestine, the bug queen. After the scene but before the actual fight, talk to Warth, Lloyd and Pramm to receive a tenderloin, a force caustic and a dash tonic. This fight was pretty easy on level 20, using Bug Strike Unity and Bravura skills. After the boss fight you receive another gemstone, your sword transforms again, and there is yet another scene at the hospital with Miki. You are also officially dubbed a Highlander and receive three firewyrm bands, so now you can go into any Highlander branch and claim your bounty for killing monsters.

After all the scenes, go back to Vahadina and talk to Ernace at the pub to receive a Tactician Diagram 1 and take the Accessory Proficiency Exam. Then leave and go straight east to discover Foresta Morgana (a little clump of trees in the middle of the desert).

Foresta Morgana

Go northwest then northeast to see a scene where the barrier is lifted. Continue ahead to the Forest Interior. There is a double axe in the first chest, and the 710 tems in the next chest. The next two barriers (scythe and tentacle) can't be open yet, so you have to go back to the entrance. If you go north from the save point, take the first path to the east and follow it south, you will come to a chest with Immunity Diagram 5.

The northeast area has a spellrock with a bandit which will open. There's also a chest with a camping set in this area. Continue to Forest Interior, there is a chest with guard caustic. Go back to the entrance.

From the save point, head south, you will reach an emmet spellrock. There is a birdbrawler in this area, with seven birds to fight. Passing the emmet spellrock, you will find a firewyrm spellrock and a wizard spellrock. This area also has a chest with a shikari bow. You can't open the spellrocks yet, so go back to the entrance yet again. Go back to the entrance, exit to the world map and continue east to Gasara.

Gasara, Town of Commerce

After meeting with Kutz, explore the town. The jug in the tavern has a tenderloin. The one in the armory has a Strategy Diagram 2. The jug in the inn has a gleamstone. Go to the fenced area with the tables in the northwest part of town to meet Ropple. Return to the branch for another event, and Ropple and Kutz will join the party. Talk to Trone to unlock Yuno's bravesoul skill Double Strike. Talk to him again to collect your Highlander bounty. Buy some weapon and armor upgrades before you leave. On the world map, go southeast to the Chapel Ruins and you will enter Underground Lake.

Underground Lake

I recommend taking Ropple and Meladee (or Kutz) in the active party for this area. At the first crossroad, take the west path to find a chest containing fruit of wisdom. Go back to the crossroad and go southeast to the second crossroad. Here, take the path to the west for another dead end with a chest containing Immunity Diagram 4. Go back to the second crossroad and take the path to the east. You will reach a third crossroad. The path east takes you to a chest with 298 tems. Southwest takes you to the next area and triggers an event. Here, take the path east and follow it to a save point. If you go west, you will reach a chest with a weapon for Meladee.

From the save point, go south to the Underground Lake Depths. There's a chest here with crystal water, a path east to a chest with 530 tems, and a path southeast to a dead end with a chest with Experience Diagram 1. Go west at the Underground Lake Depths fork to continue, you will reach another crossroad. There's a chest with tenderloin and the southwest path leads to a chest containing tears.

From this crossroad, take the path east to yet another crossroad. The west path here takes you to a chest with 749 tems. East takes you to the next save point. From the save point, go south for a scene and a boss fight. After defeating the boss you will be back in the world map outside Gasara.

Gasara, Town of Commerce

Go back into Gasara, Talk to Trone for a new quest in Underground Lake to kill a monster crab, where the kraken were; the reward is a Firewyrm Diagram 1. Talk to Grandma Yuna at the eatery for a quest to find a naga liver from Underground Lake; the reward is a Mind Diagram 1. Talk to her again for another quest to get a zfore claw from Border Cavern. Look in the jug at the eatery, behind Grandma Yuna to get an antivenom. When you're done with the first two quests, leave town and head east to the Nacht-Arikita Border.

Nacht-Arikita Border

After the event, go southeast around the mountains on the world map to reach the Border Cavern. Inspect the jugs by the gate to receive Fortune Diagram 2 and Bravery Diagram 3. There's a jug along the south side of the wall with a fruit of wisdom.

Border Cavern

Run around to get into fights with Zfores and try to get the zfore claw from a crazed one. Then return to Gasara for your reward from Grandma Yuna (Composite Diagram 4) and go back to the cavern.

The second path to the south has a chest with Speed Diagram 3. The dead end to the north has a chest with Immunity Diagram 6. The deadend to the south has a chest with 1529 tems. The east path leads to another dead end with a chest containing fruit of constitution and a birdbrawler (10 birds).

Follow the path northeast from where you entered, to reach the next area and trigger an event. You can go west to a dead end with a chest with a Silver Longbow for Yuno. Go back, go south to the next area and take the path to the east. Go southeast to the save point. Southwest takes you to chests with Silver spaulders for Sogreth and a Wizard's Hat for Ropple. From the save point, keep going down the path to leave to the world map. Go northwest to reach Paulta.

Cragtown of Paulta

Explore town to find some goodies. A jug by the entrance has a fruit of constitution. The jug to the left of the inn (a bit hidden) has Immunity Diagram 8. The jug by the darbaba post has a silvervold. The jug by the cave along the fence has a camping set. The jug by the Highlander branch has a Sorcery Diagram 3. None of the villagers can talk, so go to the Highlander branch for an event. Leave Paulta and go northeast to Tearsheaven. Stop at the Observation Hut on the way (north then west at the sign) and take a Recovery Diagram 2 from a jug on the second floor.

Tearsheaven

Check the jug in the inn for an Immunity Diagram 2. Check the jug in the armory to get a Life Diagram 3. Check the jug at the item shop to get a fruit of agility. A jug in the far north building, behind Urana, has an antivenom. Go to the Highlander branch to trigger an event. Leave town and go southeast towards the Swamp of Grief.

Swamp of Grief

From the entrance, follow the path south, then take the southeast path at the junction to get to Swamp of Grief South Area. Taking the east path south as it winds down takes you to Swamp of Grief Southwest. Going east, then north through the poisonous batch takes you to a chest with a fruit of strength. Taking the same east path but turning south leads you to another chest containing Protective Faulds for Meladee. Following it further south, there is yet another chest with Sage's Staff for Ropple.

In the Swamp of Grief Southwest Area go south and follow this path as it wraps around northwest and into the Swamp of Grief West Area. If you take the path northwest, you come to a chest containing 2700 tems, but will have to fight the chest after opening it.

In Swamp of Grief West Area, head north to the save point. Going west takes you to a chest with a Strength Diagram 3. Going north from the save point takes you to a chest with Horn of Bravery. From the save point, go to the next area for an event and Leynart joins the party. Pick your formation and approach Alchemon to fight him. He drains BP, casts thunder and confusion, but I didn't have much trouble on level 33 and constantly using Tetsuya's Triple Thrust. After defeating it, you obtain the scythe spellrock and go back to Tearshaeaven.

Tearsheaven

During the scene, you receive liquid lament and Leynart leaves the party. Talk to Dan to collect your bounty. Talk to Yazuri in the east building (with the looms) to receive a quest: collect 5 metal spines from metal snayles. Go north near Urana to trigger a scene with Sasha and Leynart. Leynart joins the party, so you can leave to deliver the liquid lament to Paulta. On the way there, stop at the Observatory Hut (north and west at the sign) to get another quest: collect 5 metal shards from metal snayles. The reward is a Mind Diagram 2.

Cragtown of Paulta

Go to the Highlander branch for an event. Purchase your armor and weapon upgrades from the store. Leave and go north on the world map to the Paulta Mines. Stop at the Craftman's Cabin to receive a quest: collect 5 gimblewolf meats. The reward is a silvervold. Look in the jugs in the Cabin to find a Strategy Diagram 1 and Immunity Diagram 10.

Paulta Mines

Going north at the first crossroad takes you to a chest with 736 tems. Going south at the same crossroad takes you to another chest with a recall juice. From the entrance, follow the path south as it winds around and takes you west to the next area.

In Paulta Mines 2nd Strata, going south at the first crossroad leads you to a chest with a paralyze powder (the chest will attack you). Going northeast at the same crossroad takes you to a chest with tears. To find the next area, take the north path at the first crossroad and then west.

Follow the path to the save point in Paulta Mines 3rd Area. Southwest from the save point there is a chest with Defense Diagram 3. Northwest from the save point there is another chest with glidergold. Inspecting the bones will trigger a fight with Dogra Shagara. Go south into the next area.

In Paulta Mines 4th Strata Area, go northeast to find a chest with Goddess' Rain. Southeast there are bones that trigger another fight. Take the path south at the crossroads, you pass a chest containing crystal light and will reach a save point. West from the save point there will be a chest with Experience Diagram 2. Going north triggers a scene. Continue to the next area.

In Paulta Mines Chamber of Imprisionment, there will be another scene and a boss fight against Kashin Kogi. After defeating it, talk to Volgh to proceed to Firewyrm Village.

Firewyrm Village

After another event scene, you will fight Rei at the hospital. Back in the world map, there is another scene. Now you can summon Vyne, but first enter the village to look for jugs. One to the east of town has a Life Diagram 4, another to the west has Speed Diagram 4. Go back out to the world map, summon Vyne and ride him to Lourdes (near Vahadina).

Lourdes Observatory

Look around the first level for a jug with fruit of wisdom. Look in the second level for jugs containing tenderloin and Sorcery Diagram 2. Talk to Romy on the second level to get a quest: collect 5 n'bara tails from the Bandit Hideout. Go up to the top level for a scene with Dr. Baksan. Leave to Lyris.

Lyris, City of the Arts

Arriving at Lyris triggers a scene with Kutz. Go to the uptown area and enter the staircase behind the statues in the Cathedral.

Cistina Cathedral

After the first scenes and fight, take the southwest path at the first crossroad. It takes a few turns east then north. At the next crossroad, go southwest to the save point. There are two chests in the area, one with a Strength Diagram 4, another with a fruit of constitution. Going northwest from the save point you will find another chest with forget powder.

Enter the next area (Cistina Cathedral South). Taking the northwest path takes you to a chest with a gildergold. Follow the path into the next area.

In Cistina Cathedral East, going straight takes you to a chest with 1824 tems. Going northwest you will find a chest with fruit of bravery. The southeast path takes you the next area and a boss fight against Dragon Alchemon.

After the battle, take the path south at the first crossroad to find a chest with Bravery Diagram 4 and another with silvervold. Take the northeast path out. There is a birdbrawler on the way out. Stop by the Highlander branch to get a quest; defeat the sorceress in the Cathedral to receive a Firewyrm Diagram 4. Leave to Triankha Hospital when done.

Triankha Hospital

Head to the save point. Enter the northeast door to find a chest with sharpened horn. Take the northwest path from the save point, go down the stairs to B2F. Going into the southwest room you will find a birdbrawler. Going into the northwest room you will find a chest with 1467 tems. Taking the southwest path and then turning north leads to rooms with chests containing nebula shield and Sorcery Diagram 4.

From the stairs, inspect the purple mirror on the wall in the northwest section to trigger a fight against Rei and Volgh.

Swamp of Grief

Go in the demonkin wormhole to get a Nightmare Shield. Leave to the world map and go to Border Cavern.

Optional Quests

At this point, there are a few other things you can do:
- Go to Vahadina and talk to Ernace to get a Tactician Diagram 3.
- In Vahadina, talk to Sasha's mom to unlock Leynart's Mind's Eye ability.
- The Highlander branch in Lanka wants you to kill a Blue Dragon demonkin. Your reward is a Firewyrm Diagram 5.
- Check the demonkin wormhole in Lanka Forest to find a chest with Demonkin Bracer.

Border Cavern

Enter the cavern and proceed until you reach Border Cavern Junction for an event. If you go to the southern Nacht side, there will be a demonkin wormhole with a chest containing Diablada Darkblades. At the Junction, you will fight three sets of demonkin. Once defeated, you will walk through the gate and find yourself in The Dark.

Demonkin Haunt

Once you find yourself in The Dark, go all the way east to enter Demonking Haunt. Take the southwest path. Following the path that swirls around northwest and the nnortheast you will come to a chest with a crystal of evil. If you go southeast you will come to a room with a switch.

A room to the southwest has a chest with onycite. A room to the northwest has a chest with crystal evil. Take the path south to the next area.

In Demonkin Haunt South, keep going down the path and turn southwest at the fork. Take the next path north, you will pass a chest with zirquoise and you will come to a room with a switch. Flip it to open a gate. Go back down and west to the crossroads, then south to the next area. There is a chest with tourmand, and a room to the northwest has another chest with wakewater.

In Demonkin Haunt West, go south to the save point. Taking the northeast path from here you will find a chest with wakewater. The southeast path leads to a chest with 3355 tems. A room to the southwest has chests with fruit of wisdom, fruit of agility and fruit of strength, but all chests will attack once opened.

Again from the save point, going southwest and then following the southeast path to the next area, you will see statues. Push the statue on the left to open a gate. Continue through the southeast exit into the next area, and a room to the southwest has chest with gildergold, horn of bravery and Fortune Diagram 3.

Taking the northwest path will trigger a scene and a battle. After defeating the dark hero, go into the next room for another battle with Demon King Avira. After defeating it, take the northeast path to find a chest with fruit of vitality. Leave the room and wak across The Dark to return hom through the Gate of Vision. After the scene with Lau, you can leave to Dela Rubesi. But there's some backtracking you can do before going there...

Town of Sakawa

Go back to Sakawa to get a quest from Wastus and receive a Strange Diagram 2 as reward. Talk to Hasil by the darbaba post to get a quest; the reward is a Spirit Diagram 2. Talk to Minos to unlock Sogreth's bravesoul, Thick Skin.

Emmet Colony

Go back to the Emmet Colony and defeat Helldegard. The demokin wormhole there leads to a chest with Vamplord Darkbow and a birdbrawler. Return to Vahadina to receive a Strange Diagram 4 in the Highlander branch.

Vahadina

Talk to Cecilia after killing Helldegard to get another quest; defeat Prince Prinsect in Foresta Morgana. The reward is a goalfinch passport.

Desert Ruins

A new door has appeared in the ruins. You will find three chests with fruit of vitality, silvervold and 645 tems, a birdbrawler and a demonkin wormhole with a chest with Shadow Faulds.

Foresta Morgana

You can open more spellrocks. Beyond the Wizard Spellrock there is a chest with Divine Light. Past the Demonkin Spellrock, you will find chests with Hat of the Dusk, Spawulders of the Snow, Firewyrm Blades and Movement Diagram 1. On the other side of the Dragon Spellrock you can get an Absorption Diagram 2. There's another chest you can't open yet (must have beefed-up birdcage) and the Crystal Spellrock which you can't get by yet. Lourdes Observatory

Talk to Maruo to get a quest: find a scarlet fin from blood giranhas in The Dark. The reward is a Corporeal Diagram 3. Talk to Dr. Baksan to get Ropple's bravesoul, Varia. Compelte Romy's quest (get 5 n'bara tails) to receive Corporeal Diagram 1.

Bog-Sasaya Border

Talk to Trison to get a quest to find luckmagnet at the Bandit Hideout. Your reward is a Strange Diagram 3.

Bandit Hideout

The demonkin wormhole here will take you to a chest with Shadowbry Darklance. There's also a birdbrawler, Camden. After returning the luckmagnet, talk to Trison again for another quest in this area, track three rablins. Ride Vyne to Dela Rubesi, in the center of the map.

Dela Rubesi

Check the jug on the right upon entering to get a Defense Diagram. There will be an event scene.
