BASIC TIPS

Dungeon Maker may seem complicated but it really isn't. The most complicated part is fixing your dungeon floors the right way to attract the monsters you need for your quests. Here are some basic tips to help you out.

- Monsters like to hang out at intersections, so make sure you use plenty of them in your dungeon.

- Try to strike a balance beween corridors and rooms.

- Build rooms at least four blocks away from the entrance. Any closer, and no monsters will appear in them.

- Place treasure rooms in the corners of the available map space.

- Upgrade the architecture of your hallways and rooms. This helps with the dungeon floor score.

- The higher your dungeon floor score, the more monsters you will be able to find, and the better their loot will be.

- Different rooms and corridors will attract different monsters.

- Don't remove dungeon parts from the previous floors to build the next floor. The type and quality of enemies that appears the next floor is connected to the stats of the previous floor.

- Before going to sleep everyday, eat a meal to increase your stats.

- Make sure you stop by the castle gates now and again, to see if you can get a reward for killing a certain number of monsters.

- Read the graffitis that appear sometimes when you enter the dungeon. Sometimes they have useful hints.

RECIPES AND INGREDIENTS

Recipes are one of the two ways you can develop your character. Certain dishes recover your stats, while others permanently increase them. Each recipe requires a specific number of ingredients to work. If you have found some new ingredients, bring them to the Marketplace, and the girl there will teach you a new recipe to use them. Always eat something before going to sleep so your character can become more powerful quicker.
