Investigator's Manual

A simplistic walkthrough to this investigative adventure for the Nintendo DS.

EPISODE 1

Part 1

Choose the bottom option after Mackenzie gets out of bed. Touch Knox on the dresser. After she tries the door, Knox starts speaking. Go through the dialog and pick the top option. Go through the rest of the dialog until it's done.

Pick up the jewelry box on the dresser. Go through the dialog and then look at the upper right corner of the carpet. Grab the jewel. Tap the jewel and put it into the skeleton's eye. Tap the shining button. Grab the key and tap the arrow on the lower left corner of the screen. Touch the key and then touch the door to open it.

In the office, touch the phone to begin a case. Select the first episode. Go through the dialog. After Chloe runs out, ask Penelope the three questions. When she screams, pick "Nothing". Penelope leaves and Cromwell goes to his room. Inspect the wastebasket next to the drawers, then follow Cromwell to his room. Talk to him. He wants some sweets, a shock absorber and a fragrance. Pick the bottom option and then leave. Go to Mackenzie's room. Touch the book on the desk to find a pressed flower. Leave the room and go through the front door.

On the town map, pick the Condominium (upper left). You can knock on all the doors and interrogate the tenants. In room 102 talk to Penelope and ask about the people on the first and second floors, it will give you a list of names of everyone living on those floors. Ask about everyone for both floors. When done, you will get two more questions. Pick them. Once you'er done speaking to Penelope, take her pillow. Talk to Lanflady Beatrice about "Recent changes" to open up the Shopping Plaza. Leave the condominium when you have talked to everyone.

Go to the Park (bottom right of the Condominium). Talk to everyone, and don't forget there's a guy behind the hot dog stand. Tap Funghi. Pick up the butterfly catcher next to the picnic table. Tap the net in your inventory box, then tap the web in the corner of the hot dog stand near the condiments to fix it. To catch the butterfly near the entrance, tap the net then the butterfly.

Go to the Shopping Plaza. Talk to the three skeletons and go inside Sweet Mountain (shop on the right). Talk to the baker (Antoinette), pick the middle option and then the first option to buy a Sweet Dream Cake. Take the Mushroom Cookies from the tray. Talk to the shark before you leave. Go to the store on the far left (Naked Bones) and talk to Daisy. Talk to her again, then leave.

Return to the Office, to Cromwell's room, since you have all three items he wanted. Tap each item and give them to him one at a time. Leave the room, wait for a few seconds and go back in. Take the Sweet Dream Pillow from the table. Leave the Office.

Go tot he Condominium to see Penelope in room 102. After she bangs on the ceiling, pick the second option. Tap the object on Penelope's desk (about the banana stand) and leave.

Go to the Park, talk to Chloe again. Go to the Naked Bones store. It's now closed, so go to the Apartment House, second floor, to talk to Daisy. Ask her all the questions. Go to Penelope's room next, tap the pillow in your inventory, then tap the bed. Talk to Chloe. Now you can walk over to the pillow and touch it to go to sleep.


Part 2

Talk to Cromwell, pick the first option. Go to the Shopping Plaza. Go to the House of Illusions, a door next to Naked Bones and talk to the fortune teller. Pick the first option, then the first option again. You need to find some herbal paper, since you already have the mushrooms in the cookies. Go to Naked Bones. Walk to the bottom left part of the screen and touch the teddy bear to buy it. Now talk to Daisy and ask about the Paper Bag to find out it's made of herbal paper. Tap the Paper Bag twice, then touch it again to open it and take out the Teddy Bear. Tap the Paper Bag twice again, tap the Mushroom Cookies and tap the Paper Bag once more. The cookies are now in the bag, you have your aromatherapy ball. You just need the flame.

Go to the Condominium. On the second floor, go all the way to the left to the kitchen. Use the Paper Bag on the microwave. Go back to Mackenzie's room and tap the Paper Bag twice to put it in the Item Screen and then again to Dream Walk.

Go to the Condominium. Tap Penelope's door to watch the kidnapping. Go to the Park, then Cromwell's Room and the Shopping Plaza to see them all abandoned. Go back to Mackenzie's room to wake up.

Talk to Cromwell and tell him you have succeeded. Go to the Condominium and tell Penelope of your plan.

Go to the Park and talk to Chloe, pick the second option. Inspect the butterfly on the Item Screen. Use the butterfly on Moore, the skeleton in the Park. Use the butterfly on Cromwell, Beatrice and Freda (skeleton in the Shopping Plaza, near Sweet Mountain).

Go back to Mackenzie's room and use the Paper Bag again. Go to the Condominium and watch what happens. Go to the Shopping Plaza and talk to Freda. Go to Naked Bones and nispect the bottom part of the fitting room to find Penelope's clothes.

Mackenzie wakes up in her room. Go see Penelope at the Condominium. Go upstairs and talk to Daisy. Go back to Mackenzie's room and use the Paper Bag yet again. Go back to the Condominium to check on Penelope. Go to the second floor, to Daisy's room and through the door to the rooftop. Go outside and Funghi lets you know something is afoot. Tap the open door to close it and find the Air Pump. It needs repaired.

Go to Cromwell's room and give the Air Pump to the butler. Leave the room and come back in to get the fixed Air Pump. Go back to the Condominium. Knock on Beatrice's door and give her the Air Pump. Tap Funghi once and he'll bring you the Room 203 Key.

Go upstairs to Daisy's room and look near her clock to find the missing clothes. You'll hear a scream, so run downstairs to Penelope's room. She's been kidnapped. Go to the Condominium entrance and close the door. Follow the thief to the roof. Tap on the Teddy Bear and use him on Beatrice. Leave the rooftop and go to the Shopping Plaza to find out the identity of the thief.

After Mackenzie wakes up, go to Sweet Mountain in the Shopping Plaza and talk to Antoinette. Pick all the options and keep the Sweet Dream Cake. You can now visit Daisy and take the clothes back to Penelope. Give Penelope the clothes and the Sweet Dream Cake. Case closed!

EPISODE 2

Part 1

Watch the intro and pick all the selections to continue. Once you get Penelpe's room key, talk to Cromwell and then go to the Condominium. Use the key on Room 102 to find the door is already open. Next to Mackenzie there's a Photo Album, pick it up. You can find an Order Slip on the desk and a Handkerchief on the ground. Take both. Now go talk to Beatrice and show her the mess of a room.

Go to the Shopping Plaza and talk to Chloe. Touch the board nearby to remove Penelope's picture, it's the same in the Photo Album. Show Chloe the album or the picture. Bring the Photo Album to the Item Screen and place Penelope's picture in the empty space. Show the album to Chloe again. Touch the box next to her and watch Chloe try to walk away with something. Tap Chloe to pickpocket her and get a Banana. Bring the Banana to the Item Screen and touch the label. Show the Banana to Chloe. Now show her the peel. After she slips on it, pick up the Banana Peel.

Go to Sweet Mountain and show the Photo Album to Dover. Pick the third option to unlock the Planetarium. Show the Order Slip to Antoinette.

Go to the Planetarium. Show the Photo Album to the little girl (Lynsey) sitting at the entrance. Touch the sign behind Lugol. Go inside and take some candy. Read the smaller poster on the wall (admission fees). Talk to Ogden, the man in the trench coat, and pick the third option, then the first, and again the first. He gives you a Free Pass. Show him the Free Pass.

Go through one of the doors on the right into the Space Theater. Head left and show the Photo Album to the fortune-teller. After she leaves, walk to the right to find her Name Card. Pick it up and go to the Shopping Plaza.

Go tot he House of Illusions and show the Name Card to either Myron or Myrtle. Go in and take an Astrology Chart from the bin on the bottom right of the screen. Bring it into the Item Screen and touch its center. Show the Photo Album to the fortune-teller. Exit the House of Illusions.


Part 2

Mackenzie wakes up in her room. Grab the Teddy Bear from the dresser. Try to leave the Office. The caretaker stops you. Go down to Cromwell's room and take the Sandwhich from the workbench. Pick either option to reply to him. Go upstairs and take the Red Dragon Teapot from the table. Go back downstairs to give it to Cromwell. Go back to the Planetarium to find it closed.

In the Shopping Plaza, go to Naked Bones to find Ogden and Lynsey shopping. Now go to Sweet Mountain and show Antoinette the Order Slip again to receive a bag Chocolate Cookies. Bring the bag of cookies into the Item Screen and touch the green ribbon to open it. Outside the store, inspect the coin slot on the vending machine to get a Coin.

Go back to the Planetarium and show Lynsey the Teddy Bear. Give her the Chocolate Cookies. Show her the bear again. Bring the Teddy Bear into the Item Screen and put the Ribbon on it. Show Lynsey the Cute Teddy Bear.

Chloe appears and Lynsey goes away. Talk to Chloe. Try giving her the Coin. Bring the Coin into the Item Screen and use the Handkerchief on it. Give the clean Coin to Chloe.

Go inside and give the Red Dragon Teapot to Lugol. He drinks the tea and leaves. On the right side of the couch there is a pair of Tweezers that he dropped, pick them up. Next to the sofa, there is a socket on the wall shooting out sparks. Try using the Tweezers on it. Show Odgen the Astrology Chart, and when he turns around, uset he Tweezers on the short circuit.

Ogden goes to find the circuit breaker, so walk into the Space Theater and go through the previously locked door. Hide in a cardboard box on the bottom right corner of the screen. After Ogden leaves, check the right-side wall for a secret passage. Ogden returns and goes into the secret room. Inspect the wall again.

Ogden will eventually leave. Touch the control system on the spot where the paper feeding is out of the machine, and the filter cover comes off. Touch Funghi, give him the Sandwhich and touch him again.

Walk outside to the Space Theater and see the machine malfunction. Go back to the Control Room and go through the secret wall. In the Secret Room, notice the power cord for the machine is on the left side of the room. Lynsey is in the way, so show her the Cute Teddy Bear. Lynsey wants to play hide and seek, so pick seek and she'll run off to hide. Walk up to the wall socket and unplug the machine.

Talk to Penelope to wake her and go back to the Space Theater. Lynsey is blocking an exit, so go left and take the other door. Use the Banana Peel on Ogden. Walk out of the Planetarium. Case closed.

EPISODE 3

Part 1

After the intro, pick all three options to know more. Go to Cromwell's Room and talk to the butler about the new invention. Go to the Park.

In the Skating Rink, talk to Penelope. When asked to find the fairy, tap the spot just to the left of her. Talk to Penelope again to question the fairy. Leave and go knock on the igloo to the left of the Skating Rink. Talk to Barnaby the walrus and pick the second option, then the third option and finally the second option.

Go to the Park to find Penelope near the hot dog stand. Talk to her and pick the second option. Mackenzie takes Penelope back to the Skating Rink, but Barnaby is gone. A Hand Wamer is in his place. Pick it up and bring it to the Item Screen. Tap it several times until Mackenzie says "Perfect". Give the Hand Warmer to Penelope.

Go knock on the igloo's door again. Bring Barnaby to Penelope. Talk to Penelope twice. Leave to go see Cromwell, pick any option and then go back to the Skating Rink.

Talk to Penelope. Talk to Barnaby and pick the third option. Talk to Penelope again. The option you pick doesn't matter, since Chloe convinces them in her favor. Lets fatten Barnaby.

Talk to Chloe. Tap Funghi to send him down the ice hole and get the Frozen Food. Pick it up and talk to Chloe again. Touch Funghi again to send him looking for more food. Keep doing this until you get a pile of food. Give Barnaby some Frozen Food. Talk to Chloe to find out now you need hot food. Touch the pile of food and take it to the Condominium.

On the second floor, there's a kitchen with a microwave. Place the Frozen Food in the microwave and receive Deep-Fried Oysters. Return to the Skating Rinka nd give Barnaby the oysters. Pick up the Empty Bag from the ground and open it in the Item Screen. Tap the bottom left corner of the bag to find the package is past its expiry date. Show the Empty Bag to Chloe. Barnaby finally turns off the AC. Talk to Penelope and then Chloe. Time to find a place to keep the fairy.

Go to the Shopping Plaza and talk to Antoinette at Sweet Mountain. Pick the first option twice to receive a task: tell everyone about a pastry party. Start with Dover, then Freda, then the fortune-teller in the House of Illusions, then Daisy in Naked Bones, Cromwell in his room, Beatrice on the first floor of the Condominium, Anna on the second floor of the Condominium (room 202), Lynsey in front of the Planetarium, Moore in the Park and finally Penelope in the Skating Rink.

Return to Sweet Mountain after talking to everyone and talk to Antoinette. Now you can keep the fairy in the freezer. Pick up the Hot Sauze from the shelf where the cookies used to be. Return to the Skating Rink and talk to Chloe.


Part 2

After Chloe leaves, ask to Penelope about the situation. Go talk to Barnaby and try to convince him to turn the temperature up. Go to the hot dog stand and talk to Shorty (the hot dog vendor), pick the third option. What you pick after that doesn't matter. You will receive a Hot Dog in a hard bun.

Go back to the Skating Rink and try giving Barnaby the Hot Dog. Since he's suspicious of the food you gave him before, he runs out to the hot dog stand. Follow him and switch your Hot sauce with the Ketchup on the stand. Talk to Barnaby again and watch him breathe fire. He will run to the Skating Rink to lower the temperature.

In the Skating Rink talk to Penelope to learn that the fairy has been calling Chloe's name. Find Chloe at the Shopping Plaza and talk to her. Pick any option and then go back to the Skating Rink to talk to Penelope once more. Go to the Park and fetch Chloe by the hot dog stand.

They will exchange some insults. When the're done, go to Cromwell's room and pick up the Snow Machine from the butler's workbench. Go back to the Skating Rink. Give the Snow Machine to Chloe. Talk to Penelope.

Go to the Shopping Plaza, to the House of Illusions. See Chloe rush out. Talking to the fortune-teller will have no result, so go to Naked Bones and talk to Daisy. Ask her about Chloe to know she mentioned something about a rooftop.

Walk into the Condominium to see Chloe spying on Beatrice. Select both options and then talk to Chloe again. When she leaves, knock on Beatrice's door. Try giving her the Hot Dog. She wants ketchup. Bring the Hot Dog into the Item Screen and use the Ketchup on it. Give Beatrice the Hot Dog and talk to her again. Tell her she has ketchup on her apron.

Leave the Condominium and re-enter to see Beatrice walking away. Go upstairs through the Rooftop door. Go to the railing and touch the apron. Once the landlady is gone, go to the Park and talk to Chloe twice. Then go to the Skating Rink and talk to Penelope.

Go back to the Condominium Rooftop and talk to Chloe, who sends you to the fortune-teller to get a spell. Go to the House of Ilusions and talk to the fortune-teller who won't give out a spell twice. She says others might, though.

Go to the Planetarium and talk to Lynsey, who gives you part of the spell. Then talk to Cromwell, who gives you another part and also tells you the spell is actually a cartoon song. Go back to the fortune-teller to tell her what you've learned. Pick the first option and read the long conversation. Talk to the fortune-teller a second time. The completed spell is "Magical, radical, Miracle Angel. Lyrical, cynical, la-di, la-lu, la". Talk to the fortune-teller a third time.

Go back to the Condominium Rooftop and talk to Chloe to tell her the spell. Pick the correct options to recite the spell properly. Case closed.

EPISODE 4/b>

Part 1

After the intro, go to the Condominium. Talk to Penelope in her room. Pick the second option twice, then the third option. Take the Stamp Card from her desk. The Circus is now unlocked. Go there.

Tap the mailbox twice as you enter to remove an Envelope. Bring the Envelope to the Item Screen and tap its center to remove the Letter. Bring the Envelope to the Item Screen again and tap the Stamp to remove it. Now bring the Stamp Card into the Item Screen and place the Stamp on the empty space on the bottom right corner.

Go to Sweet Mountain and show the Stamp Card to Antoinetter to get a Laughing Bag. Show the Laughing Bag to Dover, who breaks it. Go back to Cromwell and show him the broken Laughing Bag. He can't fix it but gives you a battery. Go back to the Circus.

Inside the tent, talk to Chloe. Walk up to where you see a gramophone and inspect it to take the Gramophone Horn. Go back outside. Tap a spot to the right of the tent to walk to the Behind Tent area. Show the Letter to the Circus Master. Pick the first option, then the third option, and then leave.

Go talk to Penny, the skeleton villager near Naked Bones. Go to the House of Illusions and talk to the fortune-teller. Pick the third option and then leave. Go talk to Beatrice and select the first option. Go back to behind the circus tent.

Talk to the Circus Master. Pick both options. Chloe appears, follow her through the back entrance. Touch the Crime Scene Tape near the door. Talk to the Circus Master. Now talk to Chloe to find out she set up the tape. Talk to Chloe again and tap the body outline on the ground.

Talk to the Circus Master who brings Mackenzie and Chloe to the performers. Touch the open case to find the Cirque de Fleas. Pick both options and watch Chloe leave. Use the Gramophone Horn to listen to the fleas.

Touch the flea wearing a baseball cap. Now use the Battery on the empty battery slot next to it and tap the switch. A light shines across the flea, creating a shadow on the curtain. Return to Penelope and tell her the news. Talk to her again. Return to the tent.

Talk to the Circus Master. Tap the Cirque de Fleas to look closer. Tap the unclothed flea on top, who starts accusing another flea named Punk. Talk to the Circus Master to learn that Punk is locked away. Pick both options. The Circus Master tells Mackenzie to leave.

Go back to Penelope. Talk to her and then return to the Office to be congratulated by Cromwell.


Part 2

Talk to Penelope in her room. Leave and go to the tent and talk to the Circus Master, who tells you Punk has been injured. Inspect the Cirque de Fleas and tap the training room window near the bottom right of the screen.

Go back inside the tent and talk to the Circus Master. Go back to the Cirque de Fleas and inspect Punk. Talk to the Circus Master again, you will have to find a safe place for the fleas. Tap the opening of the house on the left of the Cirque de Fleas to send them all inside. Touch the training room lock, then the barred window, then the box.

Go to the Shopping Plaza. Talk to Chloe near the fountain and follow her back to the Circus Tent. You can talk to Chloe and Peneope and ask for their opinions. Talk to Punk inside the Cirque de Fleas. Return to the tent and talk to Chloe once. Go back to the Cirque de Fleas, tap the house to listen to them, then go back to Chloe and pick the first option when talking to her.

Use the Crime Scene Tape on the Cirque de Fleas. Try to leave the tent. An anvil falls on the Cirque de Fleas. Walk outside and inspect the spot where the Circus Master stood to find a Stake. Use the Stake on the Cirque de Fleas. Talk to Punk to trigger a conversation between the fleas. Talk to Chloe and pick the first option. She leaves.

Go to the Park to find Chloe by the hot dog stand. Talk to her and go back to the Cirque de Fleas. Touch the flea wearing a baseball hat. The Circus Master enters, so talk to him and pick the first two options. Inspect the Cirque de Fleas and touch the training room window to listen to the fleas. Go back out and talk tot he Circus Master. You must bring the circus members to him.

At the Shopping Plaza, talk to Myron and Myrtle, picking the first option. Go to Sweet Mountain and talk to Antoinetter. Go to Shorty the hot dog vendor in the Park, and then Beatrice in the Condominium. Pick the first option for them as well.

Go back to the tent. Talk to the Circus Master and pick the second option, then the fourth. Dover walks in. Talk to the Circus Master, then to Dover and finally talk to the Circus Master again. Pick up the Circus Master's Hat and give it to Dover. Touch the Circus Master. Case closed.

BONUS EPISODES

In between episodes on the main menu, Mackenzie can enter the "Bonus Episode" by walking out the Office's front door. The Bonus Episodes consist in Mackenzie going around the village, accepting small cases from the villagers. At the end of each episode, more offers and events are unlocked.


After Episode 1

Sweet Mountain - Talk to Chloe. Antoinette praises the dangers of baking. That is all; case solved.

Shopping Plaza - Freda has lost her jewel. Talk to her twice, refusing to quit. When she moves, tap the spot where she was standing to find the jewel. Give it to her to solve the case. (If you don't see Freda right away, leave and re-enter.)

Shopping Plaza - Horace, (skeleton next to Sweet Mountain), has misplaced his package. He says it's in a Paper Bag the size of a "petite hippo. Pick the first option and go into Naked Bones, where you can find the package on the counter near Daisy. Pick it up and give it to him to solve the case. (If you don't see Horace right away, leave and re-enter.)


After Episode 2

Shopping Plaza - Talk to Cromwell, who is the team seeker in a Hide-n-Seek tournament. Accept to help his team. The first one in hiding is in the bucket next to the vending machine. The second is in Sweet Mountain under the table next to Antoinette (touch the bottom of the tablecloth). The third is in the House of Illusions, touch the curtain closest to the door. The fourth is in Naked Bones' fitting room. The last one is in the fountain (touch the right-hand spout at the top of the fountain). Go back to Cromwell and then leave to solve the case.

Shopping Plaza - Talk to Penny and pick the fourth option to have the day's fortune read. She asks Mackenzie to let her know if it comes true. Go to Penelope's room in the Condominium and grab a banana from the banana stand on her desk. Feed it to Funghi to obtain the peel. Go back to the Shopping Plaza and use the Banana Peel on Chloe, who is standing next to the fountain. Talk to her, and then return to Penny to tell her the preditcion was right. Another case solved.

Planetarium - Talk to Lynsey to learn about Felicia. Follow her inside to see Chloe run out. Go outside and talk to Chloe, then Lynsey. Leave to add the case to Mackenzie's investigation journal.

Planetarium, Lobby - Talk to Ogden for an Astronomy Quiz: "How many stars are there in the universe?" Ogden's correct answer is "About thirty thousand". Tell him what he wants to hear and the case is solved.

Planetarium, Space Theater - Edvard, the business man skeleton in the Space Theater, needs to get rid of some documents. The simple solution is to give the Secret Documents to Funghi. Speak to Edvard once you've done this and leave to solve the case.

Secret - It's not a case, but if you go to the Planetarium and talk to Lugol, there is a one in seventy-two chance that he will tell Mackenzie a joke.


After Episode 3

Skating Rink - Go to the Skating Rink to find it has been frozen again. Talk to Barnaby about it and he says something about the "dark side" of tropical resorts. Leave to solve the case.

Park - After talking to Barnaby, talk to Moore. Tap the little green lump under the bush to find a Coin. Go tot he Shopping Plaza and use the Coin on the vending machine's slot to get a Sports Drink. Return to the Park and give it to Moore. He wants tomato juice. Go to Shorty's hot dog stand and take his Ketchup. Use the Ketchup on the fountain in the Shopping Plaza. Give the watered-down ketchup to Moore to close the case.

Condominium, Rooftop - Chloe gives you her patented IQ Quiz: "Which of these turtles is best suited to be a teacher?" The correct answer is "Snapping Turtle". Case solved.

Sweet Mountain - Talk to Antoinette, she wants new ingredients. You can get the Banana from Penelope's Room in the banana stand. Talk to Shroty in the Park toget a Hot Dog. Go to the Skating Rink and touch Funghi to retreive a package of Frozen Food from the ice. Return to Antoinette, give her the three ingredients and the case is solved.

Shopping Plaza - Talk to Myron, the small creature on the left guarding the House of Illusions. He asks you what his name is. Answer "Myron" to solve the case.

Shopping Plaza - Talk to Myrtle, the small creature on the right guarding the House of Illusions. He asks you who his friends are. Answer "Copper & Constantine" to solve the case.


After Episode 4

House of Illusions - The fortune-teller needs your help. Reach into her fortune-telling bag, and pull out some "Doughnuts". Tell her what you have found to solve the case.

Circus - Walk around and talk to all the performers again. Go talk to Dover. The Circus Master will enter looking for Karbanog. Follow the conversation and the case solves itself.

Condominium - Talk to Beatrice, she needs help taking some photos. Go outside and come back in, then use the Camera on Beatrice's window. Go to the Rooftop and use the Camera just above the center of the railing. In the Park, use the Camera on the opening on the hot dog stand. Go inside the Skating Rink and use the Camera on the hole in the ice. Go to the Planetarium and take a picture of the globe just above the entrance. Inside, take a picture of the plant behind Ogden. In the Circus Tent, take a picture of the large "Circus" sign. Behind the tent, take a picture of the Cirque de Fleas. At the Shopping Plaza, use the Camera on the lower area of the fountain. Finally, inside the House of Illusions, you'll have to use the Camera on a spot just to the left of the fortune-teller, on the right arm of the chair she's sitting on. Return to Beatrice and the case is solved.

Shopping Plaza - Cromwell needs help again with Hide-n-Seek training. The first member is in the bucket next to the vending machine, just like before. The second is in the right-hand spout at the top of the fountain again. The third is in Sweet Mountain under the table next to Antoinette. In the House of Illusions, tap the cyrstal ball to find the fortune-teller, and touch the drapes next to the door to find a skeleton. In Naked Bones, touch the clothes on the bottom right corner of the screen to find Daisy. Tap the fitting room to find another skeleton. In the Planetarium, Ogden is hiding in a spot left to the candy (tap the counter) and you can find Lynsey by checking the sign. Go to the Condominium to find Beatrice, who isn't really hiding. Go to Penelope's room and check the closed curtains to find her. Go to the Rooftop, walk outside and touch the door to find Chloe. Behind the circus tent, tap the white curtain to the left of the stage to find Dover. Return to Cromwell to close the case.

Sweet Mountain - Find Dover, who needs you to find the Circus Master. Go to the Skating Rink and tap the hole in the icee. Return to Dover to tell him where the Circus Master is and watch the scene that follows. Leave to solve the case.

House of Illusions - The fortune-teller needs your help again, but you can't activate the request until you have completed your Touch List. When Mackenzie reaches into the bag, the mystery of what it is she touches will remain. This case solves itself.

INVESTIGATION REPORT & TOUCH LIST

The Investigation Report

As Mackenzie completes cases, slots in her Investigation Report (the green book accessible from the main menu) begin to fill up with her thoughts on various cases and events. No more than five of these will appear after Mackenzie's main cases; the majority are part of the Bonus Episode.

This means that in order to complete the Investigation Report, every request will need to be filled. Once this is done, Bonus Artwork will be accessible from the Report itself (just tap "Played the Bonus Episode"). Two new bonus tracks will also be unlocked in the Sound Test (titled, appropriately enough, "Bonus 1" and "Bonus 2").


The Touch List

Completing Mackenzie's Touch List is an arduous task, but remember to touch everything that seems possible to touch, and even some things that appear to be out of reach. Many items that appear on the Touch List are only available when playing the Bonus Episode, so playing through the main story will not suffice. Once you have added all fifty items, press the Y Button or tap "Bonus" to access a bonus artwork.

Completing the Touch List "unlocks" the final case from the fortune-teller.
